Feel uplifted

some of my favorite quotes:

The sad and lonely chair

I sit alone in an unknown world.

what could you do with a brick...

I decided to Google the uses of a brick and this is what I found:
v  Throw it at someone to show you are really mad!
v  master key for any vehicle
v  Paperweight
v  pencil holder
v  Pet
v  glasses
v  shoe
v  I need one to weigh down the cover to my house's crawl space
v  To mark the spot where the treasure is buried
v  To smash potatoes so you can eat smashed potatoes and gravy.
v  Tie to a string, tie it to a tooth, and drop it so tooth falls out.
v  To throw through a window so we can save the baby out of the burning building.
v  As a unit of measure...could be mass, volume, length...
v  Build a building if i have more than one
v  To put on my head to practice walking with good posture.

You know any six word phrases?

Utah, the greatest snow on earth
Where are you going for lunch?
Friend, you can drive my car
Bigfoot hunting is only for experts

Dr. Pepper is the best soda
Cafe Rio is the best restaurant
Eating something sounds good right now
People don’t do drugs, they’re bad
(This next one almost made me cry when I heard it)

Unknown

I found myself walking one day
Well I was out on my walk
I found myself thinking
Of where my
Life is at
And where it might go
It kind of got me worry
When I finally
Stopped day dreaming
I looked up
and saw a place
I've never seen before
It startled me at first
But Once I looked closer
I felt a sense of peace
The place I saw is *where the sidewalk ends and before the street beings
The first step was kind of hard
I couldn't leave all of the things
I grew to love so dear
But as my steps
Grew more and more
I learned that
I wasn't leaving
Anything behind
I had everything and everyone
With me each step of the way

*Where the side walk ends by Shel Silverstein

forgive you?

I remember that day
Like it just happened
All of the hurt and confusion
You had me feel
The frustration mounted

So much hurt
Confusion and frustration
The emotions so hard
To control
Remorse and pain is all I could feel

Could I ever forgive you?
I soon did
Learn to forgive
But as for that day
I will never forget
